Welcome to ShaKER 2025!

We are pleased to announce a one-day event about Mathematics in Verona!
In this occasion, our invited speakers will share with us their research interests, which span several areas of mathematics, along with their career stories and the perspectives they have formed along their professional journeys. Early-stage researchers – PhD students and postdocs in particular – are invited to participate with a poster or with a short presentation. We hope participants will gain an insight into the diverse possibilities a PhD in Mathematics can offer, and that both new and more experienced PhD students and postdocs will have the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas.

Program of the Symposium

The conference is organized around keynote talks given by invited speakers and short talks by PhD students in Mathematics.
Moreover, there will be two sections dedicated to collaborative sharing of know-how and transferrable skills.

Registration is free but mandatory!

To register, there are two possibilities:

  • If you have received an invitation email, just fill out the Google Form whose link was sent together with the email.
  • Otherwise, please send an email to elena.gaburro@univr.it and write:
    • Your name and surname
    • If you work in academia: your institution and your role
    • Why you would like to participate

Registration is confirmed only if you receive a confirmation email.
